What is the WordPress theme?
A WordPress Theme is a collection of files that work together to produce a graphical interface with an underlying unifying design for a website. These files are called template files.

To install a WordPress theme first let’s take a look at the WordPress website in which we’re going to install our WordPress theme.
To install a theme in WordPress there are two ways :
1) Install the theme, by using WordPress search
2) Find the WordPress theme using google search
1) Install the theme by using WordPress search
To search WordPress theme please click on the appearance button and then click on the theme button.
You can see the installed themes which are installed on the website.
Click on the add new button to search the themes.
Enter the WordPress theme name and click on the search themes button.
You can see the theme that you have searched. Here is the view of the searched theme.
Click on the view and details button the view the detail of the theme.
Below is the view of the theme with the details.
Click on the install button to install the WordPress theme.
The theme will be installed on the WordPress website.
To make the theme work on the website, click on the activate button to activate the theme.
The theme has been activated.
To check the change click on the visit site.

2) Find a WordPress theme using google search
To find a theme you want using google type of site_wordpress theme for example :
If you want a blog theme then type blog WordPress theme.
You can choose any result and search you will find different blog themes which can be installed on the website. Choose the one you want, this is how you can find a theme using google search.
Once you have found a theme which matches your need, how do you install the theme? You want to install it by clicking on the download button.

How you can install a theme on WordPress?
Let’s see how you can install a theme that comes in a .zip format.
To install the theme on your WordPress you need to upload the file to WordPress.
To upload this theme please go to your WordPress admin dashboard and click on the add new button.
Instead of using the search box, click on the upload theme button.
-> Click on the choose file button to upload the theme.
-> Select the .zip file which you have downloaded.
-> The theme has been selected click on the install now button to install the theme.
-> The theme has been installed, click on the activate button to activate the theme.
-> The theme is activated and has been successfully installed on our WordPress website refresh the website and you can see the newly installed theme.
