Configure an email account in Mac Entourage

  1. Please Go to "Entourage/Account Settings"
  2. After please click on the "New/Configure account manually"
  3. Account type: POP
  4. Please go to "Edit Account"
    1. -  Please enter an account name
    2. -  Please enter your name and the email address in "Personal Information"
    3. -  Please account ID: Full email address of the POP account
    4. -  Please enter POP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
      1. -  -  Password: Password of the POP account
      2. -  -  Please check "Save Password in my MAC OS Keychain"
    5. - Please enter SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
    6. - Please click "Click here for advanced sending Options"
      1. -  -  Please select "SMTP server requires Authentication"
      2. -  -  Please select "Log on Using"
      3. -  -  Please enter account ID: Full Email address of the POP account
      4. -  -  Please enter Password: Password of the POP account
      5. -  -  Please check "Save Password in my MAC OS Key Chain"
      6. -  -  Close the window
    7. - Please click "OK"
  5. Please close the "Accounts" window

Please Note: SMTP default port is 25, alternative port is 8889
