Please follow these steps to set up Outlook 2007 to retrieve and send emails from our mail servers (Please replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name).
- Please open Outlook
- Please click "Tools," and select "Account Settings..." This will bring up the Accounts Settings Window
- Please select "New"
- Please select "Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types," and click "Next"
- Please select "Internet Mail," click "Next"
- Please enter the values in the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3):
- - - Your Name: Please enter the name you want to appear in outgoing emails
- - - E-mail Address: Please enter the email address you want to appear in the outgoing email (ex. [email protected])
- - - Please select "POP3" for the account type
- - - Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
- - - Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
- - - User Name: Please enter your full email address (ex. [email protected])
- - - Password: Please enter your email account password
- - - Please select "Remember Password"
- Please click "More Settings"
- Please click on the second tab
- Please check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
- Please check the "Log on using" radio button
- - - User Name: Please enter your full email address (ex. [email protected])
- - - Password: Please enter your pop3 account password
- - - Please select "Remember Password"
- Please click "OK"
- Please click "Next"
- Please click "Finish"
Please Note: SMTP default port is 25, the alternative port is 8889
