Please follow these steps to set up Outlook to retrieve email (Please replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name).
> Please open outlook
> Please click "Tools," and select "Email Accounts..." This will bring up the Email Accounts wizard
> Please select "Add a new e-mail account" and click "Next"
> Please select "POP3," in the Server Type prompt and click "Next"
> Please enter the values in the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3):
- - Your Name: Please enter the name you want to appear in outgoing emails.
- - E-mail Address: Please the email address you want to appear in the outgoing email (ex. [email protected])
- - User Name: Please enter your full email address (ex. [email protected])
- - Password: Please enter your email account password
- - Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
- - Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
> Please click "More Settings"
> Please click the second tab
> Please check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
> Please check the "Log on using" radio button
- - User Name: Please enter your full email address (ex. [email protected])
- - Password: Please enter your pop3 account password
> Please click "OK"
> Please click "Next"
> Please click "Finish"
Please note: SMTP default port is 25, an alternative port is 8889
